Since 1925, the National Capital Band has been The Salvation Army’s musical force in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The National Capital Band is attached to the headquarters for the National Capital and Virginia Division of the Salvation Army, located in Washington, D.C., for which it provides evangelistic and public relations support year-round.
Kate has been a member since September 2013.
Founded in 1985, the EIBB is the only band of its kind in the state of Iowa. Audiences throughout the midwest delight in the fun and enthusiasm of the EIBB in concert. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, drawn together to share a fervent dedication to the perfection of the brass band musical tradition.
Kate was Musical Director from August 2011 to May 2013.
The Athena Brass Band is the first all-female brass band in the United States, named after Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom. The band was formed in 2003, and consists of a mix of military band and orchestral musicians, along with college faculty from across the United States and Canada.
Kate has been a member since August 2012 and is currently the concert announcer.
